SELF CLEANING OVERBAND MAGNETIC SEPARATOR:
Our Self-Cleaning Overband Magnetic Separators are designed to provide cleaner products by separating ferrous metal from a variety of over-the-belt conveyor applications. This separation is crucial for protecting subsequent processing machinery. The separators use a two-pulley design, with parallel separators mounted in line with the material flow, while transverse separators remove the ferrous materials over the side of the conveyor.
OPERATION:
Material on the conveyor passes underneath the overband magnetic separator. Ferrous metal is attracted to the surface, allowing the ‘cleaned’ product to continue along the conveyor as normal. The continuously moving belt of the overband magnetic separator wipes its surface clean of the ferrous metal attracted to it, which is then discharged into a collecting box.
